China Team Participant (2 weeks)

International China Concern

As part of our work we take teams of people from around the world to work with the children and young adults in our care. Our China Teams provide those of us who aren’t able to serve long term with an opportunity to go to China and work within the social welfare system, showing China’s abandoned children the love and respect which they deserve.

As a member of a China Team you’ll be able to demonstrate God’s love and care, not only to the children but to our Chinese employees. Your life will show the people you meet that ICCs children are worthy of sacrifice - you have travelled thousands of miles to be with them. As you arrive at one of our projects you’ll be greeted by many happy faces as the children welcome you to their home. Their welcome is only the beginning of a two week experience which has changed many lives. You will discover what a privilege it is to serve these children and young adults and you’ll encourage those who’ve given their time to work with us long term.

China Teams offer the opportunity for you to serve God while experiencing a new and different culture, to gain a fresh perspective on life and to take the stories of these special children home with you. Many China Team members make repeated trips, become sponsor parents and some have chosen to work for ICC locally or in China.

ICCs children are among the most special, they have a way of getting under your skin and you may find yourself part of the ever-growing family that is International China Concern.
