TEFL Teacher - Red Sea Region - ReachAcross

ReachAcross has an urgent need for English teachers (i.e. TEFL teachers).

For many years we have run English Language classes at our learning facilities in a country bordering the Red Sea.

We are looking for Short Term English Teachers (TEFL)who could come for 5 to 6 months and teach 10-12 week courses.

Applicants will be committed Christians who not only want to teach English, but to do this as Christian mission.

This is an unsalaried position. Support from church, family, friends is usually required.

 

We are looking for a couple, or at least two singles, (preferably single men - but women also accepted!) who will come at the end of August or the beginning of September 2012. An alternative start would be January 2013.

Would also suit gap year students but must be very mature due to the environment in which they would live and serve.

Preferably native English speaker, but not essential.

Must have a TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) or be willing to get one prior to deployment overseas (these can be done residential or on line - contact us for details and possible discount).

Experience in teaching English cross-culturally would be an advantage. Not essential.

Knowledge of French or Arabic would be an advantage but is not essentail.

We cannot take Short termers over the summer (often above 50C)
