Human Resources Director, Nepal - International Nepal Fellowship
Submitted: 13/03/12 ; Closing Date: OpenINF needs an experienced Christian with professional knowledge of human resources management, preferably with working experience in the NGO sector, to support Nepali colleagues and lead its Personnel Department.
Activities will include:
- Research into human resource management and development issues, within INF and within the NGO sector, to establish what is best practice in Nepal
- Helping to update employment policies on the basis of research findings
- Sharing ideas about how to develop the human resources function within INF
- Developing the staff of the Personnel Department
This role is primarily based in Pokhara, with some time spent at INF Worldwide’s Service Office in Kathmandu.
This post is currently vacant and INF Nepal is looking for someone who can commit to more than two years.

As well as having relevant experience, in order to gain the necessary visa for this post, the successful applicant will need to have a degree or equivalent qualification.
As part of the role, successful candidates will develop a group of individuals and churches to pray for them, encourage them, and meet their financial needs. Successful candidates will be given the training, help and resources needed to build this team of supporters, so they can partner with them in their service.
