Airfield Development Manager, Tanzania - Mission Aviation Fellowship

Based in Dodoma, the job holder's main responsibility is to manage the airfield development work within the programme. This includes identifying, in liaison with other MAF managers, potential airfield areas for
development, ensuring that planned and funded new airstrips are fully prepared for construction and once constructed, that they are approved and licence.

The job holder will need previous experience in project management and ideally some knowledge of construction projects. This person will be supporting and supervising the Airfield Development Team.

The ability to communicate effectively in English and Kiswahili is crucial. In addition the post holders should be able to work unsupervised, under difficult physical conditions at times.
