CTBI Christians Abroad
Christians Abroad is a project of the Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. It provides opportunities for self funded volunteering with Christian or Christian supported projects internationally. Christians Abroad takes responsibility for help with selection, preparation, support, travel and visa arrangements, medical checks, insurance, flight arrangements etc. Associate volunteers can choose to manage their own travel arrangements.
Christians Abroad also offers consultancy to other agencies and to individual churches who seek help with recruitment, preparation, support, project management, debriefing etc.
Every year Christians Abroad runs a two day conference for mission partners returning to the UK for good or on furlough. The conference offers opportunities for rest , review and reflection in teh beutiful setting of Whirlow Grange, Sheffield. Currently this costs £300 per participant but rates are reduced for married couples and families. Provision is made for childen.
Christians Abroad is an agency for providing VDW National Insurance contributions.
