Developing Health Course
Christian Medical Fellowship run an annual residential course for health professionals, covering all aspects of medicine in developing countries. Operation Mobilisation 'Face to Face' Course
The Face to Face course is about gaining more self-understanding, not about leadership techniques. It is a time for you to step away from your responsibilities. We hope to provide a safe environment for you to be able to look at yourself as a person and if necessary find new ways of relating to God, yourself and to others. Penhurst Retreat Centre
The Centre has a heart for mission and is well known within the membercare community. The wardens, Richard and Storm Hann, are trained in listening and debriefing and are usually on hand to support and pray with guests if requested. Set in an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' Penhurst is situated near the south coast but only 90 minutes from London by train. It is a small, peaceful house offering a warm welcome and many home comforts. Re-Adjustment Network
RAN is a network between the mission organisations and maintains a list of missionaries who have returned to the UK and are available to offer support and advice to other newly returned missionaries. Re-entry & Debriefing @ Redcliffe, Gloucester
Sue Ingleby of Redcliffe College offers Debriefing and Counselling services for anyone returning from the field. She has a Diploma in Counselling and 9 years experience, and has recently been accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has also worked with her husband as a missionary in India.Mike Frith, OSCAR's founder also based at Redcliffe, offers help and advice on re-entry issues. A number of the college community are available for advice and help in other areas.
