Good News Family Care

GNFC believe that the steady erosion of our 'quality of life' is a direct consequence of the breakdown of Family Life and the abandonment of traditional family values. Evidence for this can be seen everywhere: Domestic violence, Dysfunctional Families, Abuse, Drug and Alcohol dependency, Anti-social Behaviour and Homelessness. GNFC want to see this trend reversed. Their stated aims are: (1) to encourage a return to Christian family values, and (2) to provide a 'safety net' for families in distress. They provide supported accommodation for mothers and children, and support and counselling for the whole family. They also have a small Recovery Unit where mothers with drug or alcohol related problems can stay with their children as they address their problems.
