Hospital for Tropical Diseases Travel Clinic
The Hospital for Tropical Diseases (HTD) combines treatment of tropical diseases with research into their causes. The Hospital is a source of advice and expertise for travellers and health professionals and a Universal Centre of Excellence. Its Travel Clinic dispenses immunisation and advice to more than 8,000 UK travellers annually. More than 80,000 ring the Travel Clinic Healthline every year. For the many who contract malaria annually the hospital provides specialist diagnosis and treatment.
