The Impact Giving (UK) Trust

The Impact Giving Trust are a registered charity that has been offering services for Christian giving for over twenty years. The Trust’s aim is to support the spread of the Gospel by all practical means, in particular by channelling donations to Christian beneficiaries such as churches, Christian workers, mission, and relief work. They are interdenominational and are a member of the Evangelical Alliance.
They help individuals to maximise their giving through the use of Gift Aid and organise their giving more effectively with minimum administration. They help Christian workers (and church treasurers) by increasing their income by reclaiming tax on their donors giving (28p for every £1) and by reducing their administrative burden, freeing them to concentrate on their ministry. They do not charge for their services - they operate a donation only policy.

Volunteer Bureau (formerly Council for Voluntary Service)

Your local Volunteer Bureau can give you advice on applications for funding to local trusts and grant making bodies. Some of them also have display boards and other presentation equipment often loaned free of charge for your deputation meetings. Contribution Management System

CMS is a complete donor management software solution. It was written originally by a couple of MK's for the mission their parents work with.  Missionary Tech Team have taken it on, enhanced it and continue to enhance and support it.  So far, it is really for the mission side of tracking donations, it integrates with both QuickBooks and
PeachTree - using the Class field in QuickBooks for the needed "Funds". 

They are wrapping up release of the "Personal" side of CMS.  It will take
care of the tracking of info (names, address, pledges, donations, calendar, to do) for a missionary raising support and integrate with the "mission" side of CMS for getting addresses and donations updated - both directions.

Friend Files

Friend Files is a contact management program for Christian workers to keep track of their supporters. It runs under Access 97 or 2000. The program allows you to:

1. Maintain an up-to-date list of names, address, phone numbers, and other information about supporters.
2. Keep track of contributions.
3. Keep track of letters you write to supporters.
4. Analyze your support with graphs: how support has changed over time, how much support comes from which regions, etc.
5. Print mailing lists and address labels.
6. If you aren't on the field yet, Friend Files helps you to keep track of prayer and financial pledges.

Friend Files also supports automatic processing of monthly financial statements for some agencies. If your agency e-mails statements with consistent formatting to workers, Friend Files can be customized to work with these statements, too. Then you can just paste that statement into Friend Files, and the program enters all of the data automatically.

This US based organisation run a personal support raising boot camp. This is an intense two day training seminar to help Christian workers get to their ministry assignment quickly and fully funded.
