bringing the love of Jesus to a nation where many atrocities were committed
in his name. Today, we are a Christian mission agency working with Bosnian
young people to help them overcome the effects of the past, equip them to
enter their futures with hope and confidence and empower them to become
agents of positive transformation in their communities.
Novi Most is seeking to appoint a visionary Christian couple or individual
to pioneer and develop youth ministry within the organisation in a third
location in Bosnia Herzegovina. Potential leaders should have youth work and
leadership experience, good communication skills and the ability to relate
well to church leadership in a cross-cultural context. Most importantly,
they will enjoy the challenge of reaching young Bosnians and empowering them
to be agents of transformation in their communities through developing a
programme of outreach unique to their locality. Team leader(s) will also be
responsible for developing a small team of international and local workers.
Term of contract would be for three years in the first instance. A
willingness to learn Bosnian is essential and one particular area of
expertise relevant to young people is desirable.
