Overview of project
Broad portfolio of projects, including : multi-sectoral project in an acute emergency in Darfur; PHC Clinic in established IDP camp outside Khartoum and mobile clinic in Khartoum State; cross-line PHC rehabilitation project in Nuba Mountains; emergency response to disease outbreaks etc.
Responsibilities
Manage HR related issues and promote staff development and training for both Internationally Recruited Staff (IRS) and National Recruited Staff (NRS) in Sudan Northern States (NSU).
Facilitate the effective implementation of administrative and legal issues relating to Medair in NSU.
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualification (HR or related field)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in HR management - with the focus on staff benefits and compensation, well being and development
- Minimum 1 year of overseas work experience
- Work experience in HR management overseas
- Experience in counselling / debriefing / trauma counselling
Medair standard working requirements
- Minimum 12 months professional experience in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 months overseas work experience

- Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
- Familiar with Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
