Country Manager/Team Leader and Assistant Team Leaders.
Description: Be part of the in-country mission team, hosting, supporting and leading the visiting Mission Direct Volunteer Teams ( up to 20 people) that travel out to projects for 14 days. Co-ordinating indigenous projects, partnering with local Churches. Helping visiting teams understand mission, local culture. Share and contribute to the life changing experiences for the Mission Volunteers on the visiting teams.
Projects include: constructing simple homes for the poor, feeding programmes, refurbishing homes/safe houses for Street Children. Building and equipping schools, orphanages, mission hospitals.
Requirements:
Team Leader: Overseas cross cultural and mission experience. Proven practical, management and Christian leadership skills. Proven people and team building skills. Mature Christian able to lead others spiritually.
Assistant Team Leaders: Some cross cultural and mission experience preferred. Passion to learn and experience mission. Good relational skills. A love of Jesus Christ.
Start Dates: 3 – 6 month placements available, (although there maybe opportunity to join Mission Direct on a more permanent basis).
Countries: Brazil, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Moldova, Sierra Leone, Uganda ( future countries may include Zambia and South Africa)
