Posted: 09/07/08; Expires: 31/01/09Action Partners – Pioneers is the UK / Western Europe mobilisation office for Pioneers who have 1600 Christians involved in 180 teams in 70 countries.
Our mission it to mobilise teams to glorify God amongst unreached peoples, by participating in church planting movements.
At present we are looking for a Mission Mobiliser with a heart to encourage and facilitate young adults and students into mission. The suitable person will be involved in promoting the numerous opportunities with Pioneers by visiting Bible Colleges, Christian Unions, Churches and Christian groups. You will also meet with enquirers, be involved in exhibitions, network with like-minded organisations and bring in new supporters.
We are looking for someone with:
- a passion for mission amongst those with the least opportunity and greatest need
- an active Christian faith
- enthusiasm and creativity
- administration and presentation skills
- the ability to work independently and use their own initiative
- interpersonal skills to relate to a wide range of people
- financial support or the willingness to raise a level of personal support
The post is to work mainly in the south of England and is flexible in terms of hours, location, approach and financial structure.
