Street Children of Peru
Street Children of Peru (UK registered charity no 1082350) recruits volunteers for short term work teams (2-4 weeks) to work at Scripture Union of Peru street boy refuges. Volunteers should be fit and able to carry out construction and labouring work or qualified medical practitioners prepared to carry out short term dental and opthalmic clinics. All volunteers should be self-funded and be able to raise funds towards building materials and employing Peruvian craftsmen to work with us. The work team effort also provides the opportunity to engage in the diverse culture of Peru and o spend rewarding time, playing games with and bringing joy to the boys.
