Friends International

Friends International is an interdenominational, evangelical mission agency. The organisation was formed in 1985, as International Student Christian Services (ISCS). We exist to encourage and equip UK churches to reach out to the 1 million international students studying in the UK. Many come from countries with limited access for missionaries, such as China, the Middle East and North Africa. Many will return to positions of influence in government, education or business. Their time in the UK may be the only window of opportunity for them to hear and respond to the gospel. Our vision is that every international student in the UK has a Christian friend, giving them the opportunity to respond to the message of Jesus Christ and return home with the desire and skills to spread the gospel in their own country and beyond.
