WEC International (WEC)
Serving the last, first
WEC International is committed to seeing Jesus Christ known, loved and worshipped among the peoples who have yet to hear the gospel. Most of these 'remaining unreached peoples' are also the world's poorest and sometimes the most marginalized. WEC's core aim is to redress this imbalance - serving the last, first.
How to do this?
In the words of WEC's founder, CT Studd, 'This can be accomplished only by a red-hot, unconventional, unfettered devotion, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to the Lord Jesus Christ.'
WEC has around 1,800 workers, from 50 countries, serving in multicultural teams among 90 unreached peoples in over 80 countries.
Our sole aim is to see people from every ethnic group encounter Jesus as Saviour and Lord. In recent years WEC has renewed its focus on reaching people and planting churches where there is as yet no church. As a result we are seeking to build up viable church planting teams for work in many countries all around the world.
