One fifth of the world's population is Muslim and the majority have never met a follower of Jesus. Yet the bulk of cross-cultural work is still not focused on this need...
- Less than 2% of Christian workers are in the Muslim world
- Less than 1% of Christian giving supports work in the Muslim world
This is the whole reason Frontiers exists - not to impose "Western Christianity" on anyone, but to see locally-led communities worshipping Jesus, exploring their own dynamic expression of faith and making the real Jesus real to others.
Frontiers has over 1000 members from more than 40 nations serving in 50 countries around the world. It's a good start but it's nowhere near enough!
