finding strength for the journey

A resource is available to provide encouragement for missionaries and others in ministry, a Bible study guide called Finding Strength for the Journey.

About the Study Guide:Book
God calls Christians to many different types of ministry. Sometimes we feel fulfilled, sometimes we don't. If we don't feel satisfied, is it time to move on? This series of thirty Bible studies explores the theme of perseverance, but also touches on topics such as:

- Discovering God's Will
- Trusting God with the Unknown
- Finding Contentment
- Dealing with Depression
- Surviving Stress
- Handling Conflict
- Finding God's Strength in our Weakness
- Benefiting from Trials
- Reaping the Rewards of Perseverance

Each study includes a quote from the book, Five Loaves and Two Bowls of Borscht, an account of how one couple found strength from God for ministry in Ukraine. The scriptures and questions are designed to help Christians in all walks fulfil God's calling for them.

About the Author: Janice Lemke has served in Ukraine with her husband, Cory, since July 1995, as a missionary with Christian Missionary Fellowship. While she hauls produce from the market, battles cockroaches, and homeschools their two girls, he works alongside local leaders, training church planters. Before their marriage, Janice worked five years in Kenya, also as a missionary.
