Individual Vacancies/Opportunities
The cost for each vacancy listing is £30 for a 6 month (180 day) listing. Just contact us at with your requirements.

Your own account
With each of the following packages, you get your own account and can update your own information on the OSCAR website. This means that your details can be accessed and changed by you whenever and as often as you like, giving you complete control of your content on the OSCAR website.If you're interested in one of these packages, contact us at and tell us your prefered email address you would like to have registered with us, we will then send you your account details. Then it's over to you.
Bronze Package (FREE)
Basic Listing
You will be able to add/update your listing in our online directory through your account. This includes your organisation name, a brief summary about you and your contact details. With many mission enquirers and overseas workers coming through OSCAR, it is important to keep the information in your basic listing on the OSCAR website up-to-date. Alternatively, you can update your info by email to or by using the online form at www.oscar.org.uk/about/suggestlisting.htm .
Individual vacancies can be submitted directly through your account and are charged at the 'Pay-As-You-Go' rate detailed above.
* Only mission organisations with a UK office or representative are included in the mission organisations directory.
Silver Package (£55)
In addition to Bronze package benefits, you also get ...Link Page
This is a page hosted within the OSCAR website which provides you with a dedicated page for your organisation. Unlike the basic listing you have in our directory, here you can include as much text as you like to inform visitors about your work. There is also a direct link to your Link Page from your basic listing (which also gets highlighted).With OSCAR's high search engine ranking, having a Link Page is a significant way through which you can raise your own online profile and website ranking. This is a page purely for your organisation but optimised by us for the search engines. Many of the Link Pages from previous years have achieved top 10 placings with search engines*. Our most popular Link Page in 2011 achieved over 4000 page views and sent over 700 people to the organisation's own website!
This Link Page will include:
- Organisation or church name
- Organisation or church details (determined by you, as much or as little as you want)
- Logo and/or text links to your website
- A list of any job opportunities you have posted with OSCAR
* We cannot guarantee any particular placing with search returns as these are determined by the search engines and change frequently

In addition to Silver package benefits, you also get ...Unlimited Job Vacancies
This package provides all that the Bronze and Silver packages offer PLUS the facility for you to add as many vacancy listings during the year as you want. This includes short term, medium term (gap year) and long term overseas vacancies as well as UK based vacancies with your organisation or church. Each vacancy gets its own page, making this very search engine friendly, and a list of all of your current vacancies will appear on your Link Page. Vacancy listings will need to be updated every 6 months (180 days) but with this package there is no charge for doing this and you can do it yourself through your account whenever you like. We listed well over 1500 vacancies on our site during 2011 which is more than any other UK based Christian job site. Some types of vacancies are more popular than others. Our best performing vacancy in 2011 received over 800 page views and sent over 200 people through to the organisation's website. With our new system, these vacancies are now searchable by type, location & activity as well as using any keywords. We also have partnerships with several other recruitment and mission websites to promote these vacancies. These include CMF, Indeed (including their global partner sites), Workhound and Jobrapido. Other benefits
For those on Silver or Gold packages we also offer the following:
- Publicising your events: Your events can now go on OSCAR's master events list! In the past we have only advertised events with broad mission appeal (no single agency events) but now Gold and Silver members can have all of their events advertised on OSCAR. These not only goes on the main OSCAR website events list, but details also get emailed to over 1200 individual subscribers in our monthly OSCAR Update. To add your events, sign up to OSCARactive and submit them to the OSCARactive events list. We will then do the rest.
- Retweeting your Tweets: If you have a Twitter account, we are happy to retweet any of your information tweets to our followers. This includes tweets about opportunities or events, as well as any news that you would like to 'get out there'. Just ask us to follow you and we will do the rest. You can always remind us by sending a direct message too.
- Your Vacancies on Partner Websites: Some of the vacancies on our system also get advertised through other partner websites. For instance, all of the health vacancies are also advertised on the Christian Medical Fellowship's website, most UK and some other based vacancies are advertised through Indeed, Workhound and Jobrapido. Indeed also Tweet your job opportunities when you submit them to OSCAR.
- Discounted Job Cards at Events: Advertising your vacancies online with us entitles you to a discount for advertising them at some of the major Christian exhibitions that OSCAR is involved in (including New Wine).
- Put your vacancies on your own website: Once you have submitted any vacancies, we can provide you with an RSS feed to an automatically updated list of your vacancies that you can host on your own website. If you already have vacancies on our system, you can find your code by login to your account, click on 'Edit my details' and look directly under your organisation's name where it says 'Your vacancies RSS feed URL:'. That's followed by your code specific to your organisation. You can paste this into any web page or reader to get your automatically updated list.
